I love teaching Kindergarten and am so excited for another great year! I can't wait to learn and grow with your kiddos. It's going to be so much fun!

I earned my degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Art from Appalachian State University. (Go Mountaineers!) This is my 11th year of teaching in North Carolina, and my 10th year teaching Kindergarten. Kindergarten is the best! I am currently working towards a Master's degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Science and STEM education at NC State University.

In my free time I enjoy playing with & cuddling my Keeshond dog, Izzy, and have several hobbies.  I enjoy dancing, painting, and reading a good book along with a satisfying cup of coffee or tea. My husband and I enjoy traveling, trying tasty food (especially sushi), and exploring the great outdoors together.

My favorite National Park that I have visited so far is a toss up between Zion NP, UT (picture at the top) and Rocky Mountain NP, CO.
